CORPORATE WELLENSS PROGRAM
One-third of American children and youth are either obese or at risk of becoming obese, according to research from the National Academy of Sciences' Institute of Medicine. There is evidence that today’s youth may develop significant health complications such as heart disease, Type II diabetes (adult onset diabetes) and premature death unless they exercise more. We’re FUZE, the youth health club and we’re here to help!
Unfortunately, the dramatic cuts in physical education classes in schools all around the country, poor nutrition, and the increasing sedentary behaviors (television, video and computer games) are contributing to the increasing rate in childhood obesity and the increasing risk of children developing chronic diseases as well as depression. Children have a 75% chance of becoming overweight adults if parents are overweight.
The FUZE Corporate Membership Program provides a state-of-the-art, interactive physical education program designed to increase the quality and quantity of physical activity of young children. Designed by certified fitness professionals, our program can be customized to meet the needs of your company and your employees to maximize health benefits AND cost savings. We increase a child’s adherence rate, increase their enjoyment, chart their progress, and have convenient and flexible schedules for everyone. Plus, we can also come to your on-site health fair or open enrollment expo!!!
HOW IT WORKS
Employees of participating companies can enroll in FUZE at a reduced monthly rate that is adjusted annually based on participation. The savings range from 20-40% off dues and enrollment for after-school classes and camps. The employee pays directly to FUZE Fit For A Kid!. Your company’s only commitment is to promote the program to employees on a regular basis. (Minimum of 10 employees’ enrollment required.)
